Development Story
The "Evolve PRO Touch" adopts a high-visibility 1.4-inch display with touch panel, making it the largest size for a wristwatch-type GPS navigation. The in-play operations have significantly improved with the touch panel, and the buttons are consolidated on one side for a stylish design. Additionally, a new reverse display function that inverts the screen has been added, allowing the model to be used on either wrist without being limited to the dominant hand, adapting to the player's style. The Dynamic Green Eye, which allows instant recognition of the green's undulations, has further evolved both in appearance and functionality. Please make good use of it for enhancing your score.
Features such as menu screen switching and left/right green toggling are available.
Pin Position Registration: You can tap on the screen to register the pin position for the day.
Putt Simulation: Tapping on any point displays the distance and elevation difference from that point to the pin.
Three-Point Distance Measurement: Tapping on a target point on the layout displays both the distance from the current location to the target point (red line) and the distance from there to the green center (blue line) simultaneously.
Expressing Green Undulations with Heatmaps
The undulations of the green, as seen from the current location, automatically rotates in real-time, displaying the width, depth, front edge, and distance to the center.
Shot Navi's Exclusive Patented Features
Fairway Navigation・Real Distance
Navigate the distance to the fairway in the direction you're facing and the actual distance to be shot—Shot Navi's original feature.
Fairway Navigation: When unable to directly aim for the dogleg (left diagram) or the green (right diagram), the distances① from the current location to the fairway center and② from there to the green center are displayed.
Real Distance: Instead of the straight-line distance from the current location to the green, the actual necessary distance③ to be shot, obtained by adding① and②, is displayed.
Auto Measure: Automatically detects and records shots on your behalf.
Auto View Change: Automatically displays the optimal navigation screen based on the remaining distance.
For distances where a direct shot to the green is possible, such as second shots, it automatically switches to a simple view, displaying distances to the front, center, and back edges of the green along with the course layout.
For distances where approach shot is possible, it displays the shape of the green, distances to the front and back edges from the current location, and the width and length of the green.
Horizontal and Suggested Distances
Switchable based on playing conditions and preferences.
